Differences Between The Railway,Highway,Sea And Air Transport

Rail transport: It is a land transport mode that guides the train with two parallel rails. Rail transport is one of the most effective known land transportation methods. The rails provide a very smooth and hard medium for the wheels of the train to roll with minimal friction. In this way, people on the train will feel more comfortable and save energy. If properly configured, rail transport can save five to seventy percent of energy when carrying the same weight of passengers on the road. Moreover, the rails can evenly distribute the weight of the train, which greatly increases the load capacity of the train.

Road transport: It is a means of transporting passengers and goods on the road. It is one of the components of the transportation system. Mainly responsible for short-distance passenger and cargo transportation. The transportation vehicles used in modern times are mainly automobiles. Therefore, road transport generally refers to automobile transportation. In the remote and economically backward areas where the terrain is rugged, sparsely populated, railways and water transport are underdeveloped, roads are the main mode of transportation and serve as transport trunks.

Shipping: Broadly defined as all business activities related to the sea. However, up to now, the shipping space we have mentioned is generally referred to as maritime transportation, such as bulk cargo transportation, container transportation and other port-to-port maritime transportation.

Air transport: A mode of transport that uses aircraft helicopters and other aircraft to transport people, goods, and mail. It is fast and maneuverable and is an important way for modern passenger transportation, especially for long-distance passenger transportation. It is indispensable for the transportation of valuables, fresh goods and precision instruments in international trade.

Air Freight: refers to the process of transporting goods, transporting, warehousing, loading and unloading, processing, and efficient, efficient circulation and storage from the supply to the receiving place to meet the needs of customers. The organic integration of finishing and distribution information forms a complete supply chain, providing users with comprehensive and integrated services.

To put it simply: the sea has the largest capacity, the unit price is cheaper, and it is the longest. Railway transportation capacity is second, the freight rate is relatively cheap, and the time is not short. At the end of the road transport capacity, the freight rate is higher than the former two, and the time is also short.
